Rocky Mountain Equality Applauds Passage of HB26-1322, Strengthening Colorado’s Prohibition on Conversion Therapy
The Colorado General Assembly passed HB26-1322, legislation that updates Colorado's prohibition on conversion therapy to be viewpoint-neutral in response to the U.S. Supreme Court's March 31 ruling in Chiles v. Salazar. The new law preserves Colorado's ban on the discredited and dangerous practice and extends the statute of limitations for survivors to bring medical malpractice claims.
