Sydney is the Events Coordinator at Rocky Mountain Equality. Born and raised in Colorado, she grew up in the mountains of Nederland, spending all of her time outside. Seeking a new type of adventure, she moved to San Antonio, TX where she attended Trinity University, graduating this past fall Cum Laude with her B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Gender Studies. Sydney hopes to eventually get her MSW and become a LCSW. She is motivated by community driven efforts to create spaces of empathy and kindness, and to build strong lasting relationships with the individuals around her.

In her free time, you can find Sydney hiking early in the morning, skiing with her friends, always reading a book, playing the guitar, or as of her most current mission, trying to win a Trivia game.

This is Sydney’s third summer at RMEQ and she is so excited to work alongside our Community Activities & Events Manager, Davis Dunbar, to create safe, fun spaces for the entire community. As Sydney always says, smile today, it’s good for you!
