About the Event
Lavender Lit Fest is a daylong celebration of queer books, writers, readers, and community, presented by Aimee Herman + Sam Field, hosted by Butterscotch Studios. This event is sponsored by RMEQ, Colorado Poets Center, and PROUD CMC.
The festival begins with free writing workshops from 11am – 4pm (RSVP required), followed by a book fair from 12pm – 4pm featuring books, literary organizations, independent presses, and opportunities to meet writers from across Colorado’s literary community. From 12:15pm – 1 pm, join us for Drag Story Time, a joyful, family-friendly celebration of books and imagination.
The day concludes with an evening reading from 6pm – 9pm, featuring an exciting lineup of poets and writers. Tickets are required for the evening program. Purchase a ticket here.
