Nia has spent her entire career in the nonprofit sector, working in fundraising and leadership roles for organizations of various sizes, and causal areas, but each with deep community ties and impact.

Her earliest work in nonprofits centered around the LGBTQ+ community and HIV/AIDS organizations, protesting for all gender restrooms on the campus of the University of Michigan and serving as an intern to the Washtenaw and Wayne Counties HIV/AIDS Resource Center.

Most recently, she’s spent the last 9 years working as a consultant for primarily human services and social justice organizations through her business Prismatic Consulting. She’s worked with brand new startups, to multi-million-dollar campaigns, helping advance important work for communities. She’s especially passionate about supporting adoption of community-centered practices.

When not working, you’ll often find her with her clowder of cats or taking a leisurely bike ride down Longmont’s Greenway.
