Jack and Jean Hodges Big Hearts Award:

Jodi Jones (she) is the 2026 recipient of the Jack and Jean Hodges Big Hearts Award, given annually to recognize an LGBTQ+ community member who has made outstanding contributions to the community. Jodi lives in Fort Collins and is a proud mom and fierce advocate for transgender youth. When she spoke at RMEQ’s Hands Off Colorado event in Fort Collins, she made clear her dedication to protecting her child and all transgender youth. Her willingness to extend care and compassion beyond her own family, standing up for the broader community with courage and conviction, embodies the spirit of this award.

Clela Rorex Allies in Action Award:

Lisa Moreno (she) is the 2026 recipient of the Clela Rorex Allies in Action Award, which honors outstanding allies to the LGBTQ+ community in the tradition of Clela Rorex, the Boulder County Clerk who issued the country's first legal same-sex marriage license in 1975. Lisa is the executive director of El Comite de Longmont. From her vital work with the immigrant community to her steadfast allyship to the Boulder County LGBTQ+ community, she brings an intersectional approach to advocacy, recognizing the struggles facing immigrant and LGBTQ+ communities are interconnected and must be faced together. Her commitment to showing up for vulnerable communities, especially in this critical moment, embodies the spirit of action and courage that defines this award.
