BOULDER GENDER-AFFIRMING CARE COMMUNITY GATHERING

We know this is a difficult and uncertain time, but you do not have to navigate it alone. RMEQ is inviting our community to come together for a public comment writing event to oppose the proposed U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) rules that would limit access to life-saving, gender-affirming care for youth. Public comments are a critical part of the federal rulemaking process, and this is a meaningful opportunity to speak directly to those with the power to act.

At this event, we will:

• Share clear, accessible information about the proposed HHS rules and what they would mean for trans youth and their families.

• Support participants in writing and submitting public comments directly to HHS opposing these harmful proposals. 

Templates, writing utensils, and snacks will be provided, and RMEQ staff will be available to answer questions and offer support throughout the process. Your voice matters, and together, we can make it heard.
