VOLUNTEER TRAINING

Volunteers are important, valuable, and impactful! Thank you in advance for joining your time, effort, and heart with RMEQ as we work and rejoice together. This training will cover everything you need to know to volunteer at any RMEQ event and for the Speaking Out program, our storytelling program.

We will provide a light breakfast and lunch along with breaks scattered throughout our day. 

Some FAQs

• Do I have to be out to volunteer? No. We make no assumptions of folks in our community, nor do we have any expectations of anyone to disclose private information.

• Do I have to be LGBTQ+ to volunteer? No. We welcome everyone willing and wanting to be in community with the understanding that BIPOC 2SLGBTQ+ lives and experiences are centered in our spaces. 

• I'm not sure when I'll be able to volunteer, but I'm interested. Should I still come? Yes. Our volunteer training events are a great way to connect with local folks, learn more about what RMEQ does, and find out if/when it might fit in your schedule and interests.
