Safety in Pride is Rocky Mountain Equality’s public safety initiative focused on reducing harm and increasing safety for LGBTQ+ people, especially during Pride season. This project recognizes the long and painful history many in our communities have with policing and seeks to approach public safety through accountability, transparency, and community voice.

Our Education Coordinator will share safety tips, resources, and lessons we’ve learned so far. There will also be time for community members to speak candidly, share concerns, and identify what safety truly looks like for us.
