Description of the Work: The Development Coordinator provides support to organizational fundraising efforts. General responsibilities include input, track, analyze, and provide reports of customer relationship management (CRM) data and fundraising metrics; support and assist the Director of Development and the fundraising team to develop and maintain positive relationships with donors, manage correspondence, schedule and prepare for meetings, organize fundraising events, produce external communications, and grow the base of individual donors.
Essential Functions:
Enter and manage detailed donor history through the use of a donor database, continually update and correct records to maintain accurate contact and biographical information; develop reports to evaluate donor engagement.
Create donor development reports including retention and growth reports.
Provide support for the retention and growth of individual giving through annual giving campaigns using direct mailing lists, personal solicitation, and online giving.
Support the development of meaningful relationships with current and prospective donors and volunteers through a variety of communication channels.
In partnership with the Director of Development and communications team, support the effectiveness of engaging written and visual content for the website, printed collateral, annual giving campaigns, social media, and email communications including the electronic newsletter.
When requested, act as an ambassador and speak on behalf of RMEQ at community and donor events to ensure the vision, mission, and impact are conveyed.
Contact donors and provide excellent and timely customer service regarding donation issues (thank you cards, receipts, returned checks, credit card declines, incorrect payee, etc.).
Maintain inventory of materials used for development and coordinate the ordering of new materials as needed.
Provide support for the Board Fundraising Committee, including board-led events and fundraising house parties.
Maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and ensure compliance with related policies.
Handle a variety of special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Computer proficiency required, Microsoft Office Programs, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and Google Drive, CRM experience.
Attention to detail and organization.
