BIO

Aislin (Ash) Neufeldt is a Sociology M.A. as well as a queer and trans organizer, thinker, and writer. Originally from Kansas, she came to Colorado by way of Chicago and previously filled the role of an LGBTQ+ Outreach Coordinator for The Alliance for Suicide Prevention of Larimer County.

They quickly found a strong community of queer folks and allies in Larimer and forged new connections with local organizations all through offering trainings on identities, language, and protective factors against suicide for LGBTQ+ youth, and additionally, facilitating an LGBTQ+ Workgroup as part of the Colorado National Collaborative: an upstream, inter-organizational approach to suicide prevention.

They are very excited to join Rocky Mountain Equality in its expansion and look forward to collaborating across Colorado regions, continuing to build connections in Larimer County, and developing new ones in counties beyond, all for LGBTQ+ youth and the greater queer community.
