LGBTQ+ SELF-DEFENSE CLASS

Join us for a self-defense class for LGBTQ+ folks. Galen Pereira has 20+ years of training in Aikido, FMA, Silat (an Indonesian martial art), and various other disciplines.

In this class you will learn the basics of self defense, including:

• How to escape from grabs

• Basic strikes

• Principles of movement and awareness

• The psychology of violence

• What to do in the aftermath if violence should occur
